About

I have been developing all sorts of applications for almost 10 years now.  Mainly I use Java, although I have done some .NET work.  For the past year and a half I have been developing with Struts/Spring/Hibernate, which has been great coming from .NET and J2EE.  Also, I have done some Ajax/WebWork/JSP work, also a good experience.

As anyone who has done this kind of work knows, these technologies and frameworks have greatly improved development cycles in most cases.  However, as always, there are corner cases that require some obscure workarounds that are not always well documented.  Hopefully, this blog will augment the existing documentation and examples in this realm.

Aside from these corner cases, there are methodological inconsistencies and, sometime, just bad practices.  This blog will expose these issues also.
